Back in 2021, we challenged the popular opinion regarding "what is a swimbait". We sought out a lure effective in both salt and freshwater: a swimbait that could be fished with weight and would swim naturally when paused, yet could be pulled on top to create a wake without blowing out. A weedless bait capable of navigating through heavy cover and rocks, characterized by the subtle kicking action and natural profile. Envisioning a bait that could be fished weightlessly in slack water or casting into currents with heady duty jig heads.
